Advantech EKI-2701MPI 90W PoE Injector
EKI-2701MPI is a next-generation injector which is compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at/bt. With PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology, both data and power to Ethernet-enabled devices run on a standard CAT5 cable. Based on the IEEE 802.3af/at/bt PoE standard, it provides the capability to serve up to 90W on a single port using four pairs of Cat. 5e/ Cat.6 Ethernet cabling. The EKI-2701MPI injector flexibly deploys standard and high powered PD devices to transfer data and power simultaneously through one Ethernet cable while reaching distances of up to 100 meters. It supports dual power inputs via a pluggable terminal block or DC jack. DIN-rail and wall-mounting installation options provide greater user expediency. To overcome the 100-meter transmit limitation of Ethernet cable for long distance distribution, the EKI-2701MPI-R PoE extender enables the PoE PD device to be installed up to 200 meters away. The EKI-2701MPI injector delivers data and power over 100 meters to the extender and then the PoE extender forwards the data while retaining power to remote PD sites.
