Promise Vess A8120 Video Surveillance Station - 40 TB HDD

The Vess A8120 can perform one of three roles on the surveillance network: Management Server, Recording Server or IVA (Intelligent Video Analytics) Server. As a management server, the Vess A8120 can be independent management server which manages over 300 cameras/devices over surveillance network. As a recording server, the Vess A8120 can run users' preferred recording software and have recorded video data stored within the Vess A8120 or PROMISE storage hardware for future playback.
Scalable
Vess A8120 is a 1U 4-bay rack mounted hardware solution that enables storage capacity scalable to be easily scaled up using additional storage hardware. PROMISE Vess R3600 and Vess J3600 have been certied and tested with Vess A8120. Vess R3600 and up to 12 Vess J3600 JBODs could add capacity of up to 208 HDDs to a Vess A8120 deployment.

Predictive Playback
Utilizes idle recording times to monitor read patterns to predict where the next playback will be needed so the hard disk drives are not competing with the workload of the system.
Remote Active Service
Takes all worries away by proactively detecting when PSU, controllers or HDDs are going into critical condition and automatically notifying user the hardware status. A huge advantage in installations with site restrictions, such as banking, as it not only saves maintenance costs but also the headaches caused when outside support personnel need access to restricted areas.
Sequential Pattern Recording
Eliminates the heavy workloads caused by random write patterns; this feature monitors recording patterns and collects data in the cache buffer and writes data to the drives once a full stripe is ready. This creates a sequential recording pattern which offers the smoothest performance.
