It is designed to cool small offices, laboratories and breakrooms without access to facility air conditioning. It can also be used to spotcool overheated rack enclosures and micro data centers or hot spots inside or outside an enclosure.

Close-coupled air conditioning delivers cold air near heat loads to discourage recirculation and increase energy efficiency.
