Is my state required to use GovRAMP?
It depends on the state. A growing number of state governments mandate GovRAMP (formerly StateRAMP) authorization for cloud security products, and more are expected to publish mandates as they take effect. Texas has its own separate framework, TX-RAMP, which Verkada also holds (Level 2 Certification). Tell us your state and we'll confirm what applies to your procurement.
What does a -F or -G SKU mean?
Verkada designates certain hardware as government-qualified with an -F or -G suffix — these are the SKUs eligible under FedRAMP and GovRAMP authorization. Not every Verkada product has a government-grade equivalent yet, so LTT verifies SKU eligibility against your compliance requirements before quoting.
