SIIG's 2-Port Serial 550-Value is an excellent solution for you to connect additional high-speed serial-based devices to your system. It is designed to add two 9-pin (DB9) serial ports to your PCI-enabled desktop computer. This 2-port serial adapter card comes with two high-speed 16550 UART DB9 serial ports delivering data transfer rates of up to 16Mb/s. It features IRQ sharing to reduce IRQ conflicts and deep FIFOs to enable high data throughput and reduce CPU utilization. The 2-Port Serial 550-Value can be installed in 32-/64-bit, 3.3v/5v PCI and PCI-X slots.
The 2-Port Serial 550-Value is FCC Class B (DoC) & CE regulatory approved and RoHS-compliant. It is fully compatible with DOS and a wide variety of Windows operating systems and is backed by SIIG's limited 2-year warranty.
